Back in the city of Benidorm, it is not all busy humdrum and built up architecture. Benidorm is home to the award winning Levante and Poniente beaches, together both covering the stretch of Benidorm. Both beaches offer beautiful white sand, and during the busier season, have a range of water sports and entertainment on offer, as well as round-the-clock lifeguards on duty. If the sea and sand isn’t your thing, then there are still plenty of ways that you can keep yourself busy. Benidorm has its own water park nearby with many slides and water attractions. There is also a large theme park close by - Terra Mitica, which was completed in 2000, and is now a very popular attraction of the area, being one of the biggest theme parks in Spain.
